Proper Affiliate Training - The Way Forward
In getting started with my online business, I've come across and been sent, masses and masses of information on courses, ebooks, programs and systems. Some are completely free, some require a one-off payment and some are monthly membership programs.
I have claimed refunds on only one or two - when I really didn't think they were going to work for me at all. But here I'm going to write about one of the membership programs which I pay for. I use it many, many times every day and it has also taught me 80% or more of everything I need to know in my internet business. For what I consider to be proper affiliate training, look no further than - the Wealthy Affiliate University.
I don't want to make this a blatant sales pitch, it isn't. What I want to show in the relatively few words I have available to me, is a summary of how I really do benefit from the system - and that means you can too.
Wealthy Affiliate University really does provide what I call 'proper affiliate training'. Yes, there is a forum where you can ask questions - there are lots of these elsewhere too - but I'm not really 'into' forums (or should it be fora?). You see, people will only give you just so much information, they always hold a little bit back - the bit you need to know.
No, Wealthy Affiliate University is more than just its forums.
Wealthy Affiliate University is a genuine, 100% top notch affiliate training system and I would venture to add, 'bar none'. Keyword tools, website design, hosting, article writing, link cloaking and more, are all just a click away when I log in to my dashboard. I'm writing this using 'Rapid Writer' and it's giving me a word count as I type.
Here's an outline of the keyword tools:
Before I put keywords into my Adwords Group, I use the Wealthy Affiliate University 'match' tool which turns my plain and simple keyword into "keyword" and [keyword]. That saves a lot of time.
There's a tool which helps me 'spy' on what other advertisers (affiliates) are doing with the keywords I want to use. It tells me if their campaign is working or not and what their ads look like too.
There's a keyword generator and a phrase builder and even a ClickBank research tool so I can quickly see what products use my keywords and the movers and shakers in the ClickBank world.
Now these all sound very clever, and indeed they are, but the beauty of Wealthy Affiliate University is that more than providing the tools, they really do give you proper affiliate training and explain how to use the onsite resources you are paying for.
When you join you are immediately placed into an 8 week Action Plan. Over 8 weeks you are spoon-fed various training modules to help you understand all about affiliate marketing and the resources now available to you as part of your Wealthy Affiliate University membership.
But the training doesn't stop there.
There are 3 levels of 'education' you can work through in your own private 'Learning Centre' - Junior, Intermediate and Senior. These all have several mini courses which you study in your own time and tick the box when you've completed each one. You can go back to any of them whenever you need a refresher. The system keeps tabs of everything you do so you won't get lost.
The 'pieces des resistance' to me are the newly introduced Accreditation Courses for Article Marketing & SEO and Pay Per Click Marketing. They do require a further payment, but they are worth their weight in gold. (You have probably realised that I haven't completed the Article course yet!) The value of the bonuses you get with these courses are more than you pay for the courses anyway.
As I work my online business and develop my internet empire, many of the things I need to do can all be done within the Wealthy Affiliate University membership site. I can use their URL cloaker to disguise my affiliate links; Site Rubix lets me put up whole web pages in a matter of minutes. I've already mentioned the program which helps me keep track of my articles.
Oh, I forgot to mention that the link cloaker in Wealthy Affiliate University also gives me tracking and conversion information, so I don't need a separate program to do all that very necessary analysis. Proper affiliate training was never so good.
There's a free basic web hosting plan which allows you to host up to three domains and Wealthy Affiliate University even has a 'job search / offers' section so that if you need to make money to support your online business quickly, you can offer to do some of the grunt work for other people - or if you can afford it, find someone to do certain things for you.
Of all the membership programs I've joined, I don't think I will ever drop Wealthy Affiliate University. I'd spend far more than the monthly membership fee buying other programs to provide what Wealthy Affiliate University does already - and all in one place.
